Broken
"Our one broke and we had to throw it away. We then find out a couple of friends have bought Dualit hand mixers and theirs also broke. Not this particular model but an older one. Not as good as it looks
"I've had a Dualit hand mixer for a few years. I've used it very rarely, maybe once or twice a year. It just died when beating egg whites, after running poorly the last few times I used it. First it ran very slow, the button would go past speed 1, then it started to very fast on its own, with a burnt motor smell and the handle went vey hot. I had to unplug it to stop it. Too bad, I loved its design, although it's made in China and it's clearly not UK quality. It's also very heavy, so not practical at all if you're going to use it more than a few minutes.
