Dalgona Coffee

Made with only three ingredients, this frothy whipped coffee originates from Macau in China, and shares its name with the Korean for honeycomb candy. With its popularity soaring during lockdown thanks to its minimal ingredients, if you're a lover of sweet coffee it’s definitely one to try!

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Serves: 1

The secret is to whip the mixture for a good amount of time, so a Hand Mixer takes the arm work out of it and creates the best whipped topping.

Method
  1. Place the caster sugar, instant coffee and warm water into a bowl.
  2. Whisk until the mixture becomes thick and creamy (this will take a few minutes).
  3. Spoon the whipped mixture on top of the cold milk.
  4. Stir and enjoy!

Top Tip:

  • You can heat the milk first for a hot drink!
